My first SS cufftitle... Hope its real!

So i went to a gun show today and picked this up for $200. I know it was a risk but it looked legitimate compared to other examples Ive seen in similar construction and also the tag looked right as rain. I'm crossing my fingers it get your seal of approval because then I will try and buy the others he had.

Hi kid,
There is a LOT of debate over 6 thread cuff titles! The majority of collectors consider them fakes from the 1970's but there are a few that say they did exist.
I have a DAS REICH one like this with tag that is in my 'suspect' pile..........

BTW, Hermann v Salza sounds like the name of a heavyweight boxing match ......

It is all uniformly 6 thread through out, I've had that happen to me a couple times but I think its just the eyes playing tricks. As for the name Hermann v. Salza It is a name that a panzer unit used : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/11th_SS...ision_Nordland
The only thing bothering me is that most examples Ive seen use the full name Hermann von Salza. I have also seen some 6 threads called real on the burgundy forum.

Please explain why you feel this way. I would say not original due to the fact there is no photographic evidence nor written evidence of A 6 thread cuff title being produced. Why do you feel this why?

Hi Guys, I think you will find that the cuff title for this Regiment was only manufactered in BeVo format?

I personally would not buy a 6 strand title.

The RZM tag: original tags were often added to fake titles back in the 80's. However, I would like to see this tag in full. How many numbers to it?
