My Hohenstaufen Grouping
Hello guys. This is my first post in this section of the forum as i have excluded from my collection SS items.
The reason is very simple. Crazy prices and items that are heavily faked. I can't afford to spend €1500 for a cufftitle or €5000 for a helmet or visor cap.
Therefore i stick to the common German items such as LW, KM, Heer.
But last week, thank God, i met a German guy here in Cyprus who is married to a local lady. They used to live in Stuttgart for approximately 15 years and last year they decided to move here permanently.
The lady is a family friend and last week we met at a family occasion.
While i was talking with her husband i showed him photos of my collection trough my smart phone.
He said that his father had fought in WWII and he was the driver of an SS general. He couldn't remember the name but he will look at it.
Anyway i asked if he had any items from his father and he said that he has an EK and some other stuff. I was excited and asked if he would sell something. He said that he would look to find them and let me know.
The EK was missing (for now) but he found the items attached herein below.
He has established a new business here recently so i made him an offer to help him out, providing services through my profession in exchange for the goods
