    Hi everyone. New here

    Nice repro uniform.

Outside of the arm eagle (which was never seen on any schwarzerrock or on any uniform where the armband is used) the main thing that bothers me is the clip on the schulterriemen which is reminescent of the hardware found on a leash *lol* I believe that the correct device could be found online to replace that one (if the strap itself is 20mm wide).

Don't take me wrong though: The overall look is great. Congrats!

P.S: After a closer look, I would personally change the strap itself... but since you're going to use this uniform as a costume, you could choose to keep it as well... not to many people out there could 'blame' you for such a minor detail! Cheers.

Cool costume and a great display, but as FB has just proven, nothing beats original and foetid black wool.

    Cheers mate.
    I will look into it.
There's no eagle on the arm on my one.
My strap is 20mm wide and clips on and off easy.
I haven't worn it "outside" yet, I just got the boots.
Can't wait to show it off, but a few people have said it won't go down well at air shows etc...
But the fact is SS were part of WWII.
A friend of mines Dad was in the SS Panzer division, and when his tank was hit he was taken as a P.O.W by
    the British.
After he got out of hospital he was put to work on a farm in England.
This is where he met his future wife.
Can't remember if they got married during or just after the war, but it did not go down well with the family.
They moved to n.z in the 50's with their children.
And he passed away about 10 years ago.

I guess I should keep to myself, but the images of the original should predominate at least on this site. Too much junk, and the thing capsizes.

The fakes and junk appear far more frequently than nice things. There are many reasons for this fact, but I am doing my little part to counteract the cascade of junk.
Nothing from nothing equals nothing too often is the rule around these places, and it stinks.
However, militaria collecting is in fine shape, actually. I receive daily messages from around the world for my thingies.
That was surely not the case in 1970.

As far as the 'M32' goes, what's available on the repro market is easily recognizable as fake... to start with, most 'modern M32' have padded shoulders... I admit that many newbies could fall for aged stuff, but there's nothing yet that a few good books and a forum such as this one could not prevent.

I should add that I've sold some repro stuff to reenactors over the last month (helping a friend whose business went bad) and I would NEVER personally attempt to pass the stuff I came across as 'real'. I figure that those two markets should never cross (reenactment & costuming VS collection).
