U.S. troops have been on German soil more or less since late 1944, as some of you know, and a veteran of the 1960s could surely have found something like this and believe it to be real, in fact.

We are grateful for all the real uniforms that US soldiers and others have found in their time and which decorate collections and these pages.

ID:	498381The saga of the black SS uniform is made up of the ying and the yang in some cosmic sense (this is one of my odd references which recently caused a poster here to have an hysterical outburst...) but my point is this: for x number of silly fakes, as this, there are y number of real complete ensembles of perfectly original SS uniforms to be found. They do exist, but when they are too good to be true, then you can safely turn away.

...the struggle to find the real one leads you into the darkness and confusion of the fakes, especially if you strive to cut corners, pull a fast one, or otherwise go against the laws of reality.

Indeed, but in Texas, there are many undiscovered items locked away in attics, garages, and drawers, more than one would believe. Many authentic items in my collection came from real vets, whom I am very grateful for bring back these items, but more for there service. I record there story if they allow every time, which is more valuable and just as rare as these items we collect.
Yes, sadly I was blinded by lust, and that early tag. It happens from time to time. I can't thank the elders here enough for bring me back to the light, thank you all.

Drawers, I think, is the word you seek. I note your assertion, but regard it and so much else with a jaundiced spirit that befits my old age. Good luck.

    "Drawers"--
Thank you, I've corrected it. Sometimes I type so fast, I miss when it auto corrects incorrectly.
I'm sorry if what I said was not of your liking or was in any way disrespectful/inconsiderate, this was not my intent.
