The Edeweiss patch is Heer (green background), not SS. Could be authentic as these are somewhat common. Never seen one with bullion though and the construction looks sloppy. Try posting shots of the front and back in the Heer, Luft, KM uniform section and someone should be able to confirm...

The Edelweiss patch is not good. As Eric says that style is GJ not SS anyway.

I agree I like the Edelweiss collection. One of my fav pieces of WW2 militaria!

Hi Jeff, the only item which might stand half a chance is the political Edelweiss cap badge in alloy. But it does look rather clean in the pics, maybe the flash? The rest are certainly bad.

I thought it was the best at being good as well. It is stamped not cast. The flash passes black light test and the material feels like original items I have. I felt good about the TK button too though darn what gives that one away?

The skull cap button is made of the wrong metal. Should be alloy or steel depending on pattern. The blacklight is not conclusive.
