I believe the Feldbinde here is authentic.

These were faked from an early date, but yours is nearly identical to mine in certain key features.

I do not have a picture of mine, but I secured same in the middle 1970s.

A rare piece which faces the challenge of the right alu. buckle, but these are to be had at staggering values.

The middle 1970s are staggering in my memory, as well.

It looks like an original to me. I have ween them with black velour backing, black wool backing, green velour backing, and green cotton backing. All have the same slides which are completely different from the copies.

Mine has the woolen backing as this piece.

This piece has identical oxidation as does mine.

No need to reproach yourself. I have the advantage of owning one of more or less identical make. Colleague Hritz has far more regalia than I, and is the expert. I am grateful he makes his presence felt here.
