When I started collecting German militaria a friend of mine gave this assortment as a present,just to ecourage me to collect I guess.Long gone now I just wanna know if these items are original or not.Thanks

I concur with Robert and Peter. Sadly all are fake. But still a good gift to have as they can be used as a learning tool and not a big expensive set of mistakes.

Yes don´t stop collect because of this . All collectors buys fakes in the beginning before they have began to
learn how an original peace looks like. You have a great help in the internet, if you want to collect SS stuff is this page very good reference SS RELICS - WAFFEN-SS TUNICS, SS HEADGEAR, SS POSTERS, SS UNIFORMS, SS INSIGNIA, SS ALLACH PORCELAIN . There you have a lot of help, and there they show how the original stuff looks like,and compares with fakes. Also posting pics like you did now before you buy anything and beg for opinions from all kind experts here on the forum ,will also be a great help! That is my tip
