    Hi ESP,

Hitler's last personal doctor was Obersturmbannfuhrer Dr. Ludwig Stumpfegger. His original unit was 1st SS Panzer Division Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler (LSSAH). He took over as Hitlers Personal physician after the dismissal of Theodore Morel, a quack doctor. At this time he also became the Goebells family doctor, helping in the killing of families children as the end was imminent.

He commited suicide alongside Martin Bormann near a fair and railway station in Berlin after their breakout from the Fuhrer Bunker. As the Russians moved in they both bit on cyanide capsules. The bodies were buried by a civilian where they lay, until discovery during building work in 1972. Both were positively identified in the late 90's by DNA samples. Here he is....

    Regards, Ned.

The aforementioned Dr. Theodor Morell was a member of the NSDAP, but as far as I know, not of any of its various uniformed organizations like the SA, SS etc.
Most photographs of him show him to be wearing a kind of unique, personal "uniform" with either a closed or open-collared tunic, in both cases with a pair of metal Aesculapius rods on the collar; in others he is wearing what appears to be standard political leaders' tunic without insignia:

Another physician in Hitler's inner circle comes to mind. Dr. Karl Brandt - the later Health Reichskommissar - had served as Hitler's Begleitarzt (roughly "escort physician"). Initially, he was a member of the Allgemeine SS with a later transfer to the Waffen-SS, placed on the roster of the Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler and eventual attachment to the SS-Führungshauptamt.
