[Salzburg]

I do like relics and this is one of my favourites.
It was found in the positions of the 15th Waffen Grenadier Division der Waffen SS 'Lettische Nr.1' in Pomerania.
This division was involved in an incident at Podgaje on 2nd February 1945, an excellent account of which can be found here:

I would love to hear from any military vehicle experts as to which type vehicle it was attached to, going by the attachment holes. Unusual to have a hyphen between the digits, too.

Some little gems I found in the Officer's Mantel...



Something I truly enjoy about these items is what is in the small details...

It may be difficult to see in the photos but the button for the shoulder strap has set into the strap and left an impression, its discoloration and deterioration evidence of its age.

These SS-marked officer's boots I got separately from Robert H complement this item.

I didn't know the Tyr rune could be worn on the grey tunic.
