Greetings. Perhaps it has been mentioned somewhere over the previous 35 pages of this thread. If so, please forgive my repetition. The greatest of all SS prizes must surely be Sepp Dietrich's Honor sword. The only pictures I have seen are in Thomas Wittman's 4th Volume. It is truly the work of master craftsmen and more. So unfair that such a one-of-a-kind remains for ever locked away from view. Perhaps contributers to this site may have photos to reveal.
As for my own humble collection- something common but iconic. Once I had a career in metallurgy, now in forestry. I consider daggers and degens as a logical amalgam of those interests... a high-value end product for our natural resources.
