Default A question for SS insignia experts.

Rudolf Hess appears in several photos wearing SS adjutant collar insignia. It was for SS adjutants on the staff of Hitler and consisted of mirror image white metal or silver embroidered Wolfsangel. I believe this insignia was introduced in the second half of the 1920s and was regulation wear until the early 1930s.
Can anyone be more specific regarding the dates of introduction and withdrawal. I assume it was withdrawn on the introduction of the adjutant aiguillette, but this is just a guess and firm dates or further information would be appreciated.
    Thanks for any help,
    Woske.
