S A collar tab

This collar tab is up for auction. I would like to get it if it is good and the right price... My main question is its authenticity.

The collar tab is a typical example of those found in the storerooms at Dachau. It is not a S A collar tab but the collar insignia of the 18th S S Panzer Grenadier Division "Horst Wessel." The unit was comprised of Volksdeutsch from Hungary. Although this design was authorized and manufactured, it was never worn as the typical S S rune tab was worn by this unit. I am moving this to the S S Forum where it belongs

Since these were never worn much, does that effect the price? What would be an ok price range to pay for one of these in this shape ? Thanks for the help guys.

Not effect on value/price. It is SS, and that is all that matters to most. I am out of touch on current prices.
