schwarzer Dienstrock plus Muetze, Motorstandarte 2, Fulda WerraCa. 1933 as Hilfspolizei. I think the building is a Polizei Revier and you see the SA with the police in the background.

    our fine and generous experts.

"...Yes, I am very familiar with the black and white piping that
was utilized on the early tunics, but have never seen one in the
flesh. You have landed a superb example, and your
philosophy that the patches were added, justifiably, later to
a tunic that was dormant for a spell, makes perfect sense..."

schwarzer Dienstrock plus Muetze, Motorstandarte 2, Fulda WerraDavid Delich has this to say about our thread further....

"....The first scan shows variations of the NSKK raute.
The large example is from a photo, thus out of proportion.
There is also one on hot pink for instructor, and one for
    Marine NSKK (bottom center).
The second scan are variants of the SS version, of
which two have SS RZM tags, plus one example for
members of the SA who reported for duty.
The first three cuff titles are very early examples of
Motorsturm titles with colored borders. The final title
was for members of the NSKK who, in turn, volunteered
for duty in the Luft. Curiously enough, the title bears
    an SS paper RZM tag!
I have some photos of personnel wearing the wheel
cuff titles if I can locate them..."

The "Ulirch of England" book on the "Allgemeine SS," which, in reality, well includes the SSTV and SSVT, does have a nice array of Motor SS insignia of various kinds.

How pleasant has been this exchange versus the downright odd things that happen elsewhere and impose such a drain on one's psyche and patience.
