    Hello people,

    I had this salty cap by Martin stiles for a original waffen ss sidecap with a salty skull on the front for 1400 euro in long time ago...

    After a moment, I had a doubt, and I have removed the skull and stripped the sidecap, the skull was glued and 2 extra stitching just on the border cap...

    The color is interesting...the false piping seems to be....

    Hi Sebastian,the glued cap insigna on sidehats (before to sewn it or machinesewn) are common practice,I have stripped Bevo cap ss ins. from two poor relics totally mothed some time ago,nothing wrong.
    For a more serious opinion we need some close ups of the areas of the extra stitching and of.."the false piping" (?)..

    World war 2 caps did not glue insignia before stitching. Obviously this has been done recently.
