Slip on Shoulder board with SS marked button

That is a CLASSIC SS board of the period- "webbing" strap with double loops (the shoulder loop on the tunic went behind the first shoulder board loop, and the leather cross strap passed between the two shoulder board loops). I've only ever seen officer's boards in this configuration...The button is the icing on the cake...
