SS-Dienstauszeichnung 2.Stufe (12 Jahre) - any chance it's real??

ANOTHER long service medal I am looking at - I have my doubts but would like the experts to take a look and check it out - I know (and the seller knows) the ribbon is not the correct one (no runes). I'm waiting on better photos and this is all I have for now :

Higher res photos....can someone PLEASE take a look and let me know if there's a chance it may be legit or is it an obvious fake? THANKS!:

In looking at it all day today and comparing with a known legit one, I'm nearly positive it's a fake...more of the defects started to stand out, from the non sharp SS runes to the seemingly bend/curve to the bottom edge of the one leg. That and other things.

Anyone disagree??

The ribbon is a modern reproduction, I can tell you that much. Can't comment on the medal itself, but the repro ribbon doesn't bode well.

Agree. That ribbon is bad. The edges should look like this.
