    Very nice images. But I would note that these are buttons as found on issued items ca. 1938 or so, whereas I have enclosed earlier buttons as found on the 1934-1938 uniforms, tailored and such.

    One has to encompass all the varieties here.

    Mostly on the oldest uniforms used nickel/ white brass firm or just RZM marked buttons
    Also a lot of uniforms from this period is tailored examples. Contract items like shown before are exists, but too rare.

    Early nickel back hooks pre 1938 year made has other look, take a look at the picture I've posted abowe, they are similar to the Heeres Waffenrock back hooks in the shape of the button

I cannot photograph all my buttons, which are numerous in this family.
