SS Arm Eagle, Real or Fake?

Hello all

Posted this earlier in the Heer forum not knowing it was an SS Arm eagle.
General thought there was it to be a fake but maybe you can give me some more insights.
Also if it's a fake or real, what would be the value on this?

Poor fake, no value. Authentic examples are available for around $250.

IMHO I place no value on these items. Not giving you a hard time but our interest are in real items.

After a quick google I found one repro selling for $4.00. (so I'm not far off

)

No problem at all, I rather have your honesty than being lied to about an item! To be fair I wasnt expecting it to be good but you never know right. And as you said my interest as well is with original items, this purchase goes back to a time I was young and naive (about 12 years old). It's not the only mistake I made in my collecting years & good thing it wasn't an expensive one!

We have all made these mistakes. ALL of us.

That's why we join WRF. Lol

I could show you a box of medals I bought that turned out to be fakes. It was painful to learn but in the end I learned a lot and since then I post everything here and have bought no fakes.
