Here a field made camo cap in Oak leaf pattern (A)

I don't have any doubt about period made.

The construction is similar to factory, in order to reinforce the cap and to keep a form the light camo material (used forparka) was folded in a leather sling to the bottom. The leather is supple and shows some folds really impossible to reproduce without high use and sweat.
Inside the cap,to the top, a camo (heer tan and water) piece was fold 3 times and sewn around border and under vertical seams to reinforce the cap and give a better form.
