SS Camo Helmet Covers
Hi, I wanted to know opinions about what was the most common Camo that would have been seen on the Eastern Front in 1943-44 years?
I want to buy a repro SS camo helmet cover to put on a ratty M42 helmet I have for display. I had my eye on a ssmwholesale cover, as they look to be the most accurate and well made repros.
I like the looks of the plane tree overprint camo, would this be correct for Waffen SS in this time period and location?
Regards, Steve

Re: SS Camo Helmet Covers
Anybody?? Most common waffen SS camo used '43-44 on the eastern front???
Would the answer be just about any camo they were issued or could get their hands on? Oakleaf A&B, Plane tree etc......?

OK, thanks for opinion. Yes, I have seen many period photos with A&B, but it hard to tell what camo it is sometimes.
