There are a handful of places on the planet earth where one can find authentic SS cap insignia with some hope of regularity and sanity. However, these places are all quite costly. 99.9 per cent of such insignia on offer are fake, and lousy fakes.
Maybe someone here will recommend a safe and sane source for these, but they are extremely costly and subject to wild, in fact, insane speculation in prices egged on by some of the figures are expert in this material.
I suggest you collect German army infantry regalia, as it is plentiful and authentic and just as important in its own way.
We have this thread now every week.
