SS coat question

hi, I just bought this coat a few months ago and im 99.9% sure its good (there will always be at least .1 no matter the source) and due to a broken camera I have to post the pics from the sale listing (if more pics needed my phone might work) but its authenticity is only a minor question, my main question is about the type of coat it is the supposed wachtmantel or surcoat, I have so far found little information about them and I was wondering what their history might be? also might be mentioning the buttons on this particular coat are dated 1943, any help is great thanks!

also I should mention the eagle is original but not the coat's original the guy I bought it from restored it

I would say it has a good chance of being an original SS Wachtmantel.

This is absolutely right cut for SS. No french cuffs on a winter overcoat ( money spending )showing SS coat
