    I placed these collar patches on the forum for a buddy of mine. (computers and him don't get along). The text is what he gave me, giving provenance to having belonged to Oskar Schwerk his SS number and Nazi party number, pretty straight forward. A nice set of genuine patches, I hope they are of interest to SS collectors.

    Hi Jim, these tabs are extreamly "non standard" at best.

    The overall quality is very poor compared to what is normally seen and the silver wire edging is very much oversized.

    I would be interested to know the provenance of these?

    I certainly would not have them in my collection. I have never seen an edging on real SS tabs like that. I have always seen the silver twisted 3 strand cord.
