perfectly genuine nice tab.Now heres one for you ss experts. I have what i believe is a totally genuine ss collar tab but the ss runes are made of metal and are sewn on via two small holes one top one bottom on each rune .I have only seen one photo of this type and the uniform came from a russian museum. I believe this type are extremely rare and possibly made in one of the camps , any ideas ?

Hi Dave, these were made in Russia & Latvia and worn by some of the Eastern European SS units.

thanks for your reply ade ,really useful to know,but are these rare or not,i mean can i start looking towards retirement or that carribean cruise

Originals are not that easy to find. I hesitate to say "rare": it is a much over used word in this hobby

Do you have a photo of them to share?

Like all things SS, these are much faked.

at the moment no,im trying to get my daughter to retrieve my camera and charger so i can take some photos of all my items so i can share them with everyone although not a huge collection im happy with it at the moment except i havent got any japanese items except one bayonet,i sold a great deal of my items long ago and regret it deeply as the cost of replacement is astronomical.
