    Default SS Dagger

Hi again, I want to show you another piece that I have 1 year ago.
Let me know what you think about!
A similar example, I saw, is visible on page 381 of 2nd volume of "German Daggers of World War II" of Thomas M.Johnson.
    I hope you like this!

Can you post the clear pictures of the blade, and it's edge. Also any SS stampings on leather part?

I have a SS Dagger that I would like to find out it's history. How would I go about doing that?

Hi Lawrence, welcome to the forum.

I am sorry, but I would have real concerns about this dagger being original. The shape of the grip, blade and poor dagger to scabard fit are all things which jump out at me with just a quick look.

    Cheers, Ade.

Ade I have to jump in with you on this one,the blade does not fit what a M33 should look like.Plus the color of the grip is more gray the black, might be the light but this one has to be placed in a box and sent to the bottom of the sea. Thanks Darrell

I take an extremely dim view of anyone who, after getting a negative opinion on an item, then removes the pics.

I and others have taken the time to look at the item and share our views.

    Please restore the pics Lawrence.

I bet if it was deemed an original one the pictures would have stayed?
It never ceases to amaze me how some people act, like you said Ade, people have taken the time to look. and if the poster didn't want negative comments they shouldn't have posted in the first place
