ss div artillery units crew uniforms

hallo all
I am trying to paint some model figures and in order to achieve an accurate result i would like some help and some very expert advice
I am trying to paint soldiers of an SS artillery unit around a german 88-mm flak battery sometimes in early/mid war period possibly on the eastern front and so i am aking the following;
colour of the uniform ?
colour of the collar ?
colour of shoulder streps ?
colour of helmet?
I need to paint a group of gunners x4
and a officer
i am also puzzled by a picture i have seen that depicts a group of SS artillery soldiers wearing a tunic with an armband on the left sleave black with white or silver piping
inside the armband there is a writing possibly the name of the
SS division
if i am correct i would like to know if this armband is only for officers or is also warn by the troops?
would SS artillery men be wearing such tunic on the battlefield ?
please help

Hi Stefano, welcome to the forum!

colour of the uniform ? Field Grey
colour of the collar ? This can be dark green or Field grey
colour of shoulder straps ? Black with red piping
colour of helmet? Field grey

The armband or cuff title was worn by both Officers and men. Black with silver edges and name of unit. The cuff title was worn in the field.

just one issue remains unsolved
from the photo i have the collar of the artillery men of the SS 88-mm flak unit seems to have a really BLACK colout of collar unless this only has black runes or patches can you clarify this for me please?

you say that the collar itself can be the same colour of the uniform but it also has two black runes or patches one per side am i correct?

Hi Stefano, the collar might appear black on the photo but it cannot be this: it will be dark green.

The collar tabs are black: one on each side. One will be the SS runes or it could also be a special divisional collar tab design, such as the deathshead of the Totenkopf Div or a special foreign volunteer design. The other tab carries the rank insignia.

thanks again for your replay
ok i got you now!
the only problem is to fins a proper green colour for the colour i painted the uniforms in a field grey that is very closed to a green rather than a grey so the collar not showing at all.
In a previous replay you said that the collar colour can be also of the same colour of the uniform
if this is the case if i leave the colour of the collar the same of the uniform do i make a mistake?
obviously i will paint the collar tabs in black for the division and rank
is it ok?
