This is a silly fake, in fact. We have sufficient examples of authentic items. Look at Bob Coleman's things, especially his grey SS uniforms.
gawd thats awful.
Very ugly; the embroidery is not even close to the quality one would expect on a period piece. Everything is oddly misshapen and asymmetrical.
Compare, please. This is not mine, either.
As I always say "Not so good in face, I will keep on traveling!"
But the fakes of these are also very cunning and accomplished, so beware. The Firma Sieder in Wien made these in the epoch, but also the same firm's name is used for well made fakes.
John Picinisco is an expert in this material.
