    Milan,

You have a nice original flag. It is not unusual for white to have spots of glow when they were cleaned or washed. I have many items, directly from US veterans, that were washed and have that spotty glow. The material, markings and construction are exactly correct.

Judging from the way the wording looks, the cotton base material and
the bunting rope stitching, it looks like the same manufacturing techniques
as the repro "Old Guard" and "Reichkriegsfahne" I just got last month !

    But I'm no expert ! !

Let's see the whole flag, the other rope end and the Size markings..............
The construction of this flag is multiple piece and well sewn high quality cotton. It is quite different from the printed flags.

Still like to see the whole flag, the other rope end, and the
    size markings out of curiosity.............

This is another original SS camp flag. this also has the runes stitched on both sides. The materials are all correct for the period and made just like other flags.

One must be careful as the fakers have made fake rubber stamps, but they did not get the correct fonts.

The partial glowing can be reason of stainings, some biological stains can glow too. Also different materials glow with differnt color, try to compare with modern white t-shirt and tell us which is brighter. The problem is glowing on the modern thread is lavsane, which is make thread pure white. The 100% synthetic white thread doesen't glow at all
