Hello, of course fake!
Looks fantasy to me. I have never seen that before

Not so much a fake as a complete fantasy item. No SS-FM armband ever existed.
(Actually, even the notion seems somewhat absurd. Why should there be an armband for the dues-paying, passive, patron members of the SS organization?)
Could go with a lovely twisty wire combat fantasy helmet nicely!
Thanks for the confirmation, gentlemen!
While very inexperienced in SS items, I feel like I have an idea of what actually existed and what is fantasy. However, I always stand to be corrected and I must admit that this armband IS well made.
Live and learn... AND it's nice to have a fake and NOT get burnt by it.
I know this is a fantasy piece, but was the FM an actual organization? If so, what was the FM?
It could be authentic for one of those hate groups that are present today. As it might be their design for their clan. Just speculation. Interesting though. I also just found this link with ALL KINDS OF ARMBANDS with the one posted being one of them. Third Reich SS FM Armband

FM stands for Fördernde Mitglieder. These were not active SS men, but patron members (both male and female) who made regular financial contributions to the SS organization, the minimun being 1.-- RM per month.
The FM organization had been in existence since the mid-1920s and was deactivated in the autumn of 1939 with the outbreak of WW2.
The SS/FM/Swastika design on this armband is taken from the stickpin that could be worn by the FMs.
Have a look here for some SS-FM-related items:

This is a Delta International special of the late 1960s, to include the stamp. I had a stamp from them of this type. The paper RZM tag was one of their specialties, too.
