Interesting: never seen an unfinished badge before.

Also interesting as it shows the "K" series prefix as part of the die strike and it not being added along with the accountability number.

It also shows well the groove for this to be made into a pin back example.

It's interesting to see that the apha code seems to be part of the production. Weitze has some finished badges (enameled and with soldered stickpin) on his side also with the alpha code and still no serial number. This indicate that the serial number was engraved afterwards? You can't smash or press a number in a metal surface that is enameled, no???

It's a fantasy item; that means it did not exist: There was no such thing as an armband for supporting members.
