Thank you. I have been away in Berlin for a couple of weeks and to return to this eyesore is a shock, to be sure.

I think the normal mourner wore a black band of some kind on the arm.

Mr. Berthhold, Business or pleasure ?? Or perhaps both ?? Hope all is good... I think I have found a nearly perfect RaD Gaberdine color fabric for my custom backdrop display of RaD buckles... Thanks... Gwar

I was away on business. But work in Berlin is a pleasure of a kind, of course. Happy textiles.

Look closely at the background to the second image shown above...the Prada logo can clearly be seen...it may have been produced by them...but certainly wasn't produced by any SS concern. Hope you didn't buy this piece tsvedm...

"Nothing will ever equal the horror of this harrowing and terrible spectacle. People frightened by the shouting ran out of their houses and were cut down by the sword before they knew what was happening. And some were massacred in their houses where they tried to hide, and some in churches where they sought refuge."
    ( The Sack of Constantinople, 1453 )

All I can say is that the term "Rape Pillage and Steal " is being used to excess these days in this hobby and other counterfeiting practices

Something equally silly is Himmlers name engraved on a standard Heer dagger tang

    Heinrich Himmler Heer dagger
