You can also look in the Beaver Bando book, as well.
Delich says:
"the Edelweiss badge is made rather
crudely, and do not believe it tot be authentic. The pictures you (i.e. FB) have provided
are very accurate to the true picture for this piece."
That is, the original post piece does not pass muster with the most prominent collector of SS regalia in the solar system.
If in future, you want our help, please join the site. If you want real insignia, go to Whammond or Telesmanich, from whom I borrowed the images. Also Stiles and Jenkins, and so forth.

Hello.
Thank you very much, for your help and advice, I will follow it.
Regards, Jannis.
I got this with another item some years back ( I don't set out to collect SS anything really ) but I was told it is original.
The forum has a veritable mine of experienced collectors who REALLY know their stuff..... ALWAYS research and ask before purchasing...

Hello.
I'm not disappointed, the opposite.
I am a new collector in this area and am in the learning phase.
Did my search in the forum here and in web and I was of the opinion that the badge was not good.
You have confirmed it to me and for that I thank you.
Sorry for my bad english.
Regards, Jannis.
