That's a very nice shoulder strap. I like it a lot too.

For me the green shown here is too much like the toxic green (for SD and late war SS police rifle Regiments) for it to be Gebrigsjager proper, but this might just be down to my interpretation of the colour as I see it.
Personally, I am sure that a lot of straps have been wrongly diagnosed over the years as these things were worn in strong sunlight, lashing rain, snow etc and some weathering/discolouration must have occurred.

They are very close in color, but i still think the Toxic green is brighter in shade. Any other opinions guys ????????

Photos don't always show the true colour to good effect and as Bochmann said, it will have faded as well, so basically you will be able to ascertain the real colour much better with item in hand.
Look at the colour of the green waffenfarbe closest to the stitching on the underside to determine the colour. It should still retain the original colour there.
Someone posted a thread here recently on waffenfarbe samples, I think it was Dimas. That should help.

I'm inclined to say it's closer to the lighter green shade IMO.
That would make it Mountain troops.

I agree as stated in my previous post. This is the lighter green of the police, far too light to be the same as yours, no?
