SS items I owned in the 1970s.....

These are images of items in my ownership more or less four decades ago. Where are they today? Are they at all?

The vehicle is mine, but the person in the front seat was a friend of mine, enthusiastic with a cap on his head. I sold my whole collection a few years after this picture was made and stopped collecting until the mid 1980s, when I started again, and expanded my foetid woolens, to include buying back much of what I sold originally.

Actually, certain of these caps I got back, two of the black officer ones and they are mine again....the grey silk officer's cap, though, I wish I still had.

No, I sold it in 1975 to a family friend. It is a 1971 Audi Super 90, a car one never sees much of anywhere. It had in board disc brakes which got overheated and which also got oil on them from the motor.
A refined design that was not practical for real life. I still have the bills from the mechanic. He had a beautiful young wife with whom I became friends later on. Life has many twists, you see.
