SS M40 Pz Schiffchen

I got an offer to buy this M40 side hat.
At least I've never seen one with SS label and such a lining type. The both of insignia looks good even a aluminum button and the label too, the cap looks like also proper material made, but I never seen the the hat with factory applied button and label. Any thoughts?

This is an original transitional overseas cap. I believe there are published photos showing this type of cap worn by early SS-Panzer troops.

I owned one of these in the early 1970s, in fact, and together with many other nice Schiffchen sold it off in the early 1980s. I believe Clemens Wagner, Braunschweig made this cap. This issue is also treated, I think, in the Saris book, in fact.
