SS Mein Kampf Oak Casket

Article about: We have a Mein Kampf Casket which my grandfather brought back from Berlin, what is it worth?

Can someone please tell me if this looks to be authentic. The others I have seen on the net seem to compare fairly favourably. An estimation of value would also be greatly appreciated. The seller has no idea of value, but I don't want to do him in either. The fact that the lid has come apart will detract from value?? Thank you very much.

    Hi Tom,
I think over on Waf there was a mention of around 3,000 usd. Do a search over there for more info...

i would be very wary of items like this unless it came directly from the vet's own hands or his estated with provenance,,,

Hi Tom, they seem to sell for around £2000.

However, I am not 100% convinced these ever existed. But I have an open mind on them. They have certainly been around in England for 30 years. No period photo has been found of one or any real documentation.

    Cheers, Ade.
