SS oak leaf smock authentication

I picked up a Smock from a friend and there has been some questions on the authenticity of the item. My friend said he will refund me of is fake . A few thing to note is that the elastic waste band is pretty stiff which is unusual and it's missing a button. I've done a few basline test such as burning a string and using a black light and those have checked out . Thanks for the help!
