If you are asking for an honest opinion sir don't be disappointed if you get one or more.
I fully realize that the search for honest material is frustrating friend.

Everybody is Always dreaming of finding that SS uniform lying in an attic trunk somewhere long forgotten and worth a small fortune....but, unfortunately, this is less likely to happen these days than winning the lottery with a single ticket...50 years ago? Maybe....today? Uh uh...

Buy the Bando Beaver insignia book. Buy at least one of the Beaver uniform books.
Buy the vol. VII Mollo book, etc.
These cost very little compared with a fake grey SS uniform at market price.
The application of some brains to the task results in much good, far in excess of the small price of the initial effort.
Why this formula is so difficult for many puzzles me.
The point and click mentality with the SS is akin to contemporary use of pornography and other forms of lust, and usually ends as poorly. Or at least ends
in disappointment.
The answer to Himmler and his regalia is character and intellect in magic measure.
Moreover, my advice costs you nothing, as well as that of persons far more expert than I.....
Such expertise is totally discounted, though, since those of us who have invested decades and untold treasure are routinely mobbed and degraded.
One person here drove off Dave Delich. A real shame, I think.
It is a sad fact that those who take the time to respond to these posts are routinely abused.
So true. Especially a pity that those with knowledge who take the time to help the uneducated are rarely even thanked for the sharing of their knowledge and experience.
If I was better educated I'm sure Shakespeare had something to say about this human lack of appreciation.
The lack of courtesy in this world today is rampant. Many of our members are very generous with their knowledge and time. NO ONE is entitled to these replies. Without a serious apology from Jake25, I see no reason to further assist him. He evidently is not here to learn as his post says just the opposite.

LIFE'S LOSERS NEVER LEARN FROM THE ERROR OF THEIR WAYS.
Let's be honest here.... The "kid" was excited to find an SS blouse and with his newly found hobby was over joyed that he would own such a piece. Then, when posted for review his poor young dreams were shattered. As with most millennials and sadly, many adults - their minds are only fixated on the speculation that their knowledge is correct. Even more unsettling is the fact that feedback, red-teams, and criticism is not taken well, at all! Defensive posture is natural...... However, remember the time when all of us had a little "piss and vinegar" in us? It's all part of the maturing process. Unfortunately, many never mature....... All be it, the tone was wrong and he didn't abide by the common school of thought in regards to courtesy, it is a problem the world faces - not just this forum...
