ss officers uniform

Article about: "SS ruins" is one way of putting it, I guess. I am not a fake SS cap skull savant, but this here (the thing above in all its splendor) is, in fact, a fake cap badge. All of these s

    Default ss officers uniform

I have a late war tailor made SS-stubaf (major) combat used uniform, the peaked hat has his name (stubaf. smidt stab dachau) the tag is a small white (now yelllow) insert inside the makers tag
lots of sweat stains and wearing. i think the name is shortend down to fit the tag has small typed ss ruins.

the jacket has ss colar tabs and stubaf collar ranks, has pinkj piped shoulder boards that are silver woven .

    the sleeve eagle is nice

has a wiking sleeve cuff tittle

has iron cross ribbon in button hole,

no mothing on either hat or jacket or pants

the jacket still has sand and tobacco in the pockets as do the pants

they are dirty and still smell of combat lol. they where folded and put away a long time ago

    any help would be nice

    value?

this is all originial and like perfect condition

has a small field fix hole in the collar and a hole in the cuff and one on the back

    thanks Fritz

I would sell also as im not into collecting just a cool piece
ps the has is piped in pink also and has eagle and skull
they are tarnished from not being in daylight for 60 years

    Welcome to the forum!

Without pics this is impossible to value. These things are heavily faked.

    Cheers, Ade.

    why is that?

    Default Re: ss officers uniform

There is so much wrong I can only give you a quickest of outlines.

Incorrect cut of the jacket for wartime issue.

Poor quailty of all materials used in every item.

Incorrect design of insignia compared to wartime originals.

Poor workmanship to the cap in particular.

We have a lot of good original material shown on the forum. Please have a look around and compare the items to those seen here.

If you have recently purchased this, I advise you to seek a refund.

    Cheers, Ade.

send me a link at to where i can tell fake from originial because all the sites i read on and looked at talks about how to tell and by there acounts seems real. collar boards and shoulder eagle match there discriptions as for the tunic i couldnt find out much about the maker but they where doing buisness during the war. if fake why put a obscure maker that is hard to find? wouldnt it be a hassle to make up there label? the hat eagle and skull (have not removed) but they are stamped on the back they are heavy tarnished but still show silver the pictures are bad but i coulnt upload any better ones if you want i can send more

Compare newly posted cap to this ex Mollo collection piece. Authentic Waffen SS panzer material is particularly rare and very, very costly and in a few, select hands.

Sorry, but the truth of this material is exceptionally harsh.

The cap at the start of this thread is a Baltic stinker of which there are hundreds ghosting around in the internet with all the most desirable markings and name tags to various darlings of the regime.

    The examples are legion.

This site also contains an above average amount of authentic SS regalia.
