SS Pennant

I know there are a ton of fakes of these floating around. I bought this one in a vet lot with a bunch of other cloth that was good including another pennant. I have posted it on one of the other boards and the reviews were cautious but seemed favorable towards it being good... but only a couple of folks weighed in.

I figured I'd post it here and see if anyone else had any thoughts.

From the images posted, the material and construction appear to be similar to those found on period pieces. However, in the many years I have collected, I have never encountered a pennant of this configuration. As this is a generic design, I would think others would have appeared over the past 66 years in the collector market. Therefore, I cautiously doubt this piece being period original
