Not 100% sure about the tab, but the pips are definately East German post war pips with round pins.
Overall I don't like the look of this tab, used buckram and the folding of the black cloth...

I agree, the pips look to be east german and the construction is not of my liking. Not an tab I would add to my collection.
It's a bad 'un but they are not necessarily SS. could be NSKK, but I do agree with the comments on the pips. East German.

The pips are indeed postwar. I wouldn't waist anything on a simpel piece like this.
