Thank you F-B for this clarification. The tunic had an odd early style numeric collar tab which did not match the period photo. Sta. 31 I believe. I now know why it dissappeared so quickly.
You betcha. I was going to buy it, until I saw the photograph of the tunic for sale, which was not at all the tunic worn by this man whose name has escaped me.
The tunic has a highly bogus RZM tag in it. This kind of thing is engineered by certain European militaria houses for the detriment of persons unwilling to do their due diligence and research. Via the material we post the fakers improve their wares and we strike back at them, but I find it all much too droll. I also find the hyperventilation and reality television outbursts about fakers and fakes to degrade everything, really. It is a trope that bores me, totally.
Better to concentrate on the authentic things, and their features.

Thank you, colleagues, for additional knowledge and the fine images. I had thought that the R u S HA had a kind if agricultural as well as Wohlfahrts structure in other echelons, the holders of such positions also were entitled to wear this badge? Hence, the badge with Oberabschnitt Elbe cuff title makes fine sense.

May this mean the bearer of the diamond is a former R.u S. Ha member transfered to the SS-TV. By all means his right collar tab, I guess is Hundertschaft TK numbered, despite all other specialists and the staff wore just a deaths head tab? There no strict regulations about the Odal rune Ärmelraute?

In conjunction with the Rus-Hauptamtes diamond it is most likely that the Elbe title is being worn in its other role as an SS-Oberabschnitte cufftitle.

There is something odd with the chronological process with the site, here, the posts are skipping upward and out of logical and time order?
