Hi guys, any opinions on this tinnie? I had it in hand today and it felt like it seemed to be very well made. A tinnie for a skiing competition between the SS/SA?

Could well be a SA/SS sports award celebrating a skiing comp between the two organisations.
It looks good and the pin is correct I feel.
It's a very nice thing Eddie.

I would say it is a fantasy item or a fake IMO That pin plate is a known coffin style fake.

Hi Eric, is this the "coffin" pin plate?

Hi Eddie it looks just like this style to me and that is not good IMO on anything.

This is the pin that was in my mind's eye from this SA Sports badge.
There is a difference between the two pin plates in hindsite.I couldn't see it in the image, looked crimped but it's not.

Hmm, I didn't get a very good pic of the back plate, sorry fellas. It looks more like Eric's example however. Thanks for the info, for some reason I only associated the coffin pin with HJ and NSDAP membership badges.
