Article about: Hi! Could you help me with id of this item ? If I am not mistaken it is artillery Standartenfuhrer shoulder board ? But more importantly is it a genuine piece ? Regards, James.

    Very hard to tell. Has it been dug up?

    Hi

    I'm not an expert on ranks but artillery is Red piping; this looks more like Pink (for Panzer) but it could be the wear & age that made the red fade.

    To me it is original because the quality & attention to detail is there despite all the wear.

    But I'm not sure if it SS, it could be Heer..

    Well, if original it appears to have had a secondary backing, now gone, which would have made it SS Panzer.

    Thanks for your answers guys ! I dont know if it was a ground dug relic but it has certainly seen better days
    Yeah it is pink so panzer not artillery sorry for my mistake.

    And since no one questioned its authenticity I will assume it is a genuine piece just in poor condition.
