SS shoulderboards- opinions sought please

Greetings all.
I am after some NCO boards and my first thought on these were bad. But enough similarities to items on Page 111 of Krawczyk and Lucas made me think twice. I know good ones may be hard to give a definite "pass mark", but I would greatly appreciate your opinions.

I don't like the look of these. Don' like he loose threads on the last picture, just doesn't seem right for a period item.
