    Just got the parcel containing them, but I still can't figger out what they where made for.
    Nobody else do?
    Could it just be a fantasy piece or some kind of trench art?

    In the beginning of the war members of the SS police division had Wehrmacht uniforms (because legaly they were police units), so they wore these SS runes underneath the left breastpocket.

    PS:

    there was room enough because there were at that time still no medals earned ;o)

    I am looking to find some , but no luck so far.
    I do find other similar, but they would be private made by Latavian volunteers for theyr collar tab.
    Mine seem to be to big to be on a collar patch.

    I have a photograph a SS officer in Gala uniform in a german book on waffen SS, wil try to photograph it, cause I have no scanner.
