I'll try to keep this one on topic.
Ever wondered about these ultra-rare 'SS Skull & Bones Daggers' ??
Well, here's an original Masonic dagger ................. probably Knights Templar................... c. 1910.

Well, here's an original Masonic dagger ................. probably Knights Templar................... c. 1910.
It was probably made by Toye & Co. of London. The other one here is Toye marked on the blade.
Here it is compared to a very old German Masonic dagger made in Solingen ....................
Things start to go a bit adrift here. This Masonic dagger was advertised for sale recently as having something to do with ......... the Wehrwolf Bund !!
Fake 'Prototype SS Dagger' from the 1970s .................. see the similarities ??
Another fake or fantasy from the 1990s .................. even more similar to the original Masonic piece. With the addition of a repro Heer ferrule, copy Luftwaffe grip and dodgy HJ Leader's scabbard.
So, to end, here's a brief summary.
Skull and Bones daggers like this CAN be original.
But they were Masonic.
Never SS.
I like mine for obvious reasons ....................
Very similar to the Solingen dagger, maybe a stand design for Masonic daggers.
Beautiful whatever it's origin.
Thanks for sharing.
Wehrwolf Bund or not, that masonic dagger with the long crossbones would make a nice addition to any TK collection. That old German Masonic dagger is a beauty too !
