SS Sleeve Insignia

Hi, I have a Black SS Mantel and the lower sleeve has an outline of a triangular badge similar to this SD patch,(does not show up when photographed) is there any other patch that would been sown on here apart from this type?

Just for the sake of clarity: Do you really mean "triangular" or "diamond shaped"?

If the latter: There was quite a large number of different SS sleeve diamonds.

Even if we disregard those that would not appear on a black greatcoat (i.e. wartime ones specific to the Waffen-SS) there still remain two dozen or so different possibilities.

The syndrome of remnants of insignia is not untypical with black SS regalia.

The raute....diamond...sleeve badge...trade badge...etc. if you post your mantel, I'm sure someone here could limit the possibilities for your example.
