SS Sports Badge?

Can anyone shed any light on this SS badge that I picked up in the early 80's

Is it original, is it a sports badge & a rough idea of value would be helpful.

It is printed on a what appears to be a cotton backing (cloth backing is 10cm x 7cm).

Phil i know it's a silly question but have you tried putting it under uv light, maybe that might do the trick,

Hi Cris, I have always regarded these as fantasy items based upon the "Bevo" machine woven SS sports vest insignia.

The "blacklight" is a useful tool but it is not a "magic wand".
