SS/Totenkopf cloth patch, real or fake?
So, being a younger guy, I've been learning up on one section of militaria at a time as I collect more and more, and I don't know much about patches right now.
One of my friends was showing me the motorcycle that his dad will be giving him, and I couldn't help but notice this SS patch glued under the gas gauge on the bike. It was old and faded, and he says the bike has never been out in the weather so that made me wonder if it is actually real, I've never seen another.
This is the only picture I could find of the same design. The patch was faded white and grey by now, definitely a few years on it. Any ideas if it might be real or not? Any help appreciated!

Agreed: a fanatsy design using the cloth cap badge and sports vest insignia.
Cheers, Ade.

Not a chance of the thing you have posted being original E.R.
Perhaps if you were to provide a photo of the actual one on the bike, the reply may differ, but I have my doubts.

Okay then, much appreciated. I had my doubts looking at the type of cloth in comparison to real patches I've seen.... But again, I don't know enough about them for now. I guess I will stick to buying knives, bayonets, helmets and such for the time being.
